Acceptable Use

This policy sets out what you may and may not do on Tutorial Cool. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can cost you your account.

The principle

Tutorial Cool teaches technical, business, and vocational skills. Some of what is taught here could be misused. Learning how something works is not permission to use it against people or systems that have not asked you to.

Security and technical conduct

You may not use Tutorial Cool, or anything learned through it, to:

• access, scan, probe, or test any system or network without the owner's documented permission
• write, distribute, or host malware, ransomware, spyware, or phishing pages
• attempt to break authentication, escalate privileges, or bypass access controls on any system that is not yours
• intercept traffic or capture credentials belonging to another person
• attack, overload, or disrupt any service, including ours

Where a course covers security techniques, it does so for defensive purposes and on systems you own or are authorised to test. That distinction is your responsibility to observe.

Conduct toward other people

You may not:

• harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone
• post or transmit sexual content, or content that sexualises any person
• use slurs or attack anyone for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality
• impersonate another person, an instructor, or Tutorial Cool staff
• share another person's private information without their permission
• disrupt a live class so that others cannot learn

Live classes include people from many countries and backgrounds. Behave as you would in a shared classroom.

Recording and redistribution

You may not record, capture, download, or redistribute a live class, another person's voice, or another person's likeness without their explicit permission.

You may not copy, resell, or republish course content, question banks, or platform material.

Accounts and access

You may not:

• share your login or let another person use your account
• create accounts to evade a suspension
• scrape the platform or automate access
• probe our infrastructure or attempt to reach data belonging to another user

Instructors

If you teach here, you additionally may not:

• teach material you do not have the right to teach
• present another person's work as your own
• misrepresent your qualifications or experience
• solicit students to pay you outside the platform for a class listed here
• use your access to a student's work for anything other than teaching them

Artificial intelligence features

Our AI tutor and teaching assistant produce suggestions, not authority. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Do not attempt to manipulate them into producing harmful output.

What happens if you break this policy

Depending on what happened, we may:

• warn you
• mute or remove you from a class
• suspend your account
• close your account without refund
• withhold instructor payouts pending investigation
• report the matter to law enforcement

Serious breaches, particularly those involving harm to another person or unlawful access to systems, will result in immediate closure.

Reporting

Report anything that breaches this policy to safety@tutorialcool.com. Include the class, the time, and what happened.
